that space. It is a special place which creates itself when I am improvising at the piano. Once I have entered, it, I find inside it all manners of wonderful notes and sounds which I then play on my piano, effortlessly, and for as long as stay inside it. It feels both fragile and solid at the same time, as if its existence is constantly woven from one moment to the next. It has no extension in space or time. It has no up or down, or South or West.
