"My favorite space is my flat. It makes me feel safe. I have an Edwardian arm chair that sits in the corner of the living room. It's a pearl colour, apart from a pink stain on the back I hide with a cushion. I bought it like that in Greenwich market from a loud woman with a slight limp. It's now positioned right by the sash window so that I can sit there and listen to music when sun comes through the window – that is if Rita, my cat, will let me. I like having things around me that are full of memories."
